"Tozai Sen – Flowstate"
2023. Was playing around in Ableton with some drum kits (do check out Taariq Elliott's kits if you're into that kinda stuff). Found a sample I liked. Built a beat around it. Then made visuals for it. Was aiming for something you could put on as background noise, or watch on repeat if you felt so inclined.
Did a whole buncha R&D, experimenting with different ways to visually represent sound forms. Was challenging, fun, and pushed my mac to its limits (lots of angry fan noises).
